Casino New Brunswick — full review
Last revision · fact check
Moncton's casino hotel dates from 2010, and its 126 rooms start at a spacious 440 sq ft, with windows that actually open onto city or mountain views. It's the go-to casino stay in Atlantic Canada — pool, concert venue, free parking, pets accepted, and Magnetic Hill and Hopewell Rocks within reach.
Book it for: Atlantic road trips with the dog, near Magnetic Hill and Hopewell Rocks.
Pass if: You expect room service or more than a couple of dining choices.
Atlantic Canada's pick
Casino, hotel and entertainment centre opened together in Moncton in 2010. Great Canadian Entertainment operates the complex, and east of Québec it's the casino hotel to choose.
Roomier than the rest
For this category, the 126 rooms and suites are big. Deluxe King: from 440 sq ft. Deluxe Two Queen: from 490. Both come with a city or mountain outlook, high ceilings, opening windows, 300-thread-count sheets and a walk-in shower. Suites range from the Studio (590 sq ft) to the Luxury (795 sq ft) and, on floor five, the Marquis, which has a private balcony and two bathrooms.
Booking or checking in requires age 19; children may stay but not enter 19+ areas. 4 pm check-in, 11 am checkout. No room service for now.
Gaming
Blackjack, baccarat, I Luv Suits, craps and roulette at the tables, and a private poker room — "the Lighthouse" — open Thursday through Saturday evenings. Fresh slot titles landed in December 2025 and March 2026. Join the free Rewards Club for buffet and gift-shop discounts.
Eating and entertainment
Two choices only. The Buffet runs Wednesday–Saturday (Thursday is Ribs & Wings, Friday AA Prime Rib; members save a few dollars). The Hub City Pub sits on the floor. Both 19+. Shows happen at the on-site Molson Canadian Centre.
Pool, gym and pets
Pool and gym on site; under-12s must be supervised. Pets: two cats or dogs maximum, 50 lbs each, $40 a night, and not in the pool, gym or restaurants. Parking is free — have your car's make, model and plate ready for check-in.
Day trips
The hotel's suggestions: Magnetic Hill and its zoo, Tidal Bore Park, TreeGO, the Capitol Theatre — and, for a full day out, Hopewell Rocks on the Bay of Fundy.
Our take
Space, a pool and pet-friendly rules make it an ideal road-trip overnight. Just eat in town at least once; on-site options are thin.
