2026 ranking

Canada's 10 best casino hotels for 2026

Last revision · fact check

Lots of Canadian casinos have a hotel nearby; only a handful are true resorts, where the room, the restaurants, the showroom and the gaming floor all live in one complex. Those are the ones we rank. Twelve properties went through our six-criteria scoring — rooms through to access — and the top ten totals form this list.

The scoring is editorial and based only on what the hotels and named sources have published. We take no money from hotels; placements here are not for sale.

Fallsview Casino Resort

Niagara Falls, Ontario · opened 2004

9.3

Falls-facing rooms over a 200,000 sq ft gaming floor

Ask Canadians to name a casino hotel and most will say Fallsview. It earns that with 372 guest rooms aimed at the falls, over 3,200 slots and 110 tables, a pair of theatres (the bigger one seats 5,000) and 20-plus restaurants. Nowhere else in the country fits this much under one roof — let alone with Niagara outside the window.
